TABLE OF CONTENTS

1. FUNDAMENTALS OF MEDICAL THERMOLOGY

The human being temperature is vital sign that usually is measured at only one site (axillary, tympanic, oral, rectal, esophagic) but it can done with numerous points, as thermography, to monitor the body thermoregulation and related diseases. The last one, thermography, provides complex and ample results for the diagnosis of diverse diseases due the body map of innumerous data registered and analyzed at real time. Therefore it maps all the superficial thermal distribution and monitor the vasomotor activity of the neuroimmune and vascular biologics events. The classics Physiology, Immunology and Medical Pathology´s textbooks are copious of descriptions of these biological actions in the most diseases. However, in the clinical practice many times unnoticed dues its inadequate detection and diagnostic interpretation. This module gives the physiological and anatomical basis for interpretation.

PRACTICE

Hands on course at different countries

This module comprises practical hands on training with the medical doctor instructor in which students can put into practice everything learned in previous online modules. This module is held in different locations worldwide according to the number of students enrolled.

It is an optional module and the value and description is carried out directly with the local organizer of the course as links below. The student can perform the online modules before or after the hands on course at any time.

All the courses are certificated by ABRATERM/IBTM (all specialized in Medical Thermology and Thermography from Sao Paulo University Medicine School, Neurology Department – FMUSP).
